Camera Settings
✨This might be one of the most asked questions I get. So let’s talk about it. ✨
⚡️ Make sure your camera is on ‘Movie Mode’ Im guilty of accidentally recording in other modes and deeply regretting it. The best quality comes from shooting in this mode so just make sure that that’s squared away.
📷 Frame Rate: I usually shoot in 24fps - this frame rate is closest to what the human eye sees and I just love the way it looks personally. So I generally shoot in 24fps [even on my iPhone.] I use 60fps if I’m planning on slowing down my footage but I don’t do this too often.
📷 Shutter Speed: In the world of video this is a set it and forget kinda thing. Your shutter speed should be double your frame rate. So if you’re shooting in 24fps your shutter speed should be 1/50. If you’re shooting in 60fps - 1/120 and so on.
📷 Aperture/F-stop/Bokeh:
This is how you get that blurry/buttery background! The lower the aperture the blurrier the background. But you do have to adjust your ISO because this also changes the “exposure” I keep my aperture on the lowest number because I love looking spirited from my background.
📷 ISO:
This is basically the exposure. This higher the number the brighter/over exposed and the lower the number the darker/underexposed. Depending on your environment this setting has to be adjusted to give you the look you’re going for. If you take the ISO too high you can get a bit of grain in your video so be careful.

✨ The Monitor was the perfect choice for my desk space. I used to have a 34” @LG Monitor that I loved but I wanted a better refresh rate and a little less screen and im forsure happy with my decision.

An ultra-fast speed of 165Hz on a Nano IPS 1ms display.
