The day of my wedding it poured.
The flower girls kept running over to tell me all day “its still raining.”
Did i mention it was a beach fromt wedding?
The minutes leading up to the ceremony me and bridesmaids changed 2x back amd forth from the dresses to bathingsuits.
The only rule my future hubby and i set was “rain or shine - toes in the sand.”
So we did it…
Bow ties and bikinis.
And what my dad told me minutes before we walked down the aisle…
Has stuck with me for 11+ years no matter the weather, the predicament, the season, the valley…
We always dry off.
Thankfully Noah 🚤 figured that out too. 🌈

I’ve been wrestling with God.
Waiting to gear from Him over some really big questions.
He keeps coming back as a gentle Father would with a learned kiddos - “i trust you. Plant what you want.”
but i just want Him to tell me what to plant.
It is because I don’t trust myself or I don’t trust that its really Him giving me the authority tommake the decision for myself.
Meanwhile distractions, enemy tactics, and hurtful disappointing scenarios continue to unfold…
I know it’s a point of breakthrough, but boy it hurts and feels heavy.
Thank God that He provides moments of endearment and encouragemnt through the mouths of our babes.
Ill cherish this memory and evening for ever.
P.S. i fought back tears the entire meal…i wanted desperately to be present but my heart was broken. Cooper asked me…”did the bubbly water make your eyes tear up or is it allergies?” He later discovered me crying in the bathroom and broguht dada to console me. He then reminded me that i can openly share my emotions with him, that he is safe and he knows what it feels like to what to cry and hold back tears from jujitsu. God how mature!!!???
