In a study conducted by the Workplace Bullying Institute, 37 percent of workers have been bullied, with 57 percent of the targets being women.
Most bullies (72 percent) were people in positions of authority. At the same time, peer bullies were less frequent at 18 percent.
Worse, statistics showed these bullies didn’t pick on new people but on long-term, well-established employees. The most common victims were women in their 40s.
It's so important that we:
1️⃣ Recognize the Signs
2️⃣ Encourage Open Dialogue
3️⃣ Be an Ally
4️⃣ Advocate for Change
5️⃣ Seek Help while documenting.
