It's my first attempt at drawing #frankfrankly , 2nd attempt at #WallyDarling and 3rd attempt at #juliejoyful and I don't think I've got them quite right yet still. I've never attempted to draw puppets "come to life" before but it's a lot of fun and forces you to think about proportions and anatomy which was fun as a drawing excercise.
The Cast of "Welcome Home" is just so welcoming, cheerful and bright. ๐ There's something addictive about it.
I just want to keep sketching them.
I probably will after the next update for the story/site goes up but for now I just wanted to throw up a few sketches as a way of peeking my head out and saying hi to others who love this art project. ๐

My 2nd attempt drawing Julie and 1st attempt drawing Wally. I think he looks a bit stiff/flat in this sketch but I like how the colors came out so thought I'd upload it anyway and maybe 3rd time can be the charm to really get it down. ๐

I've just been inspired by the project to make some #fanart sketches in my style like so many others here. I'm a big enthusiast of #args and interactive entertainment in general so this project hooked me as soon as my sister introduced me to it. I love how it plays on nostalgia of various edutainment series. It actually brought back some real memories for me. I'm looking forward to seeing more and meeting other WH fans.

Sometimes I like to draw as a way to sort of meditate... or escape? Or both? Not sure what to call it but doing so brings this state of calm if it's something on my mind. An example being like: I've been feeling kind of blah and want to improve my health so now I really want to draw Dhanvantari.
I've been wanting to draw him for awhile now but had to finish the Bhalu comic pages I was obligated to finish first.
Now that everything but promotional art for the launch is done I can catch up on all the things I've been longing to sketch but been having to put in the back burner for months.
