I have had that happen before. I found running blade first over that tape joint eliminates that problem.

Just use frog tape, my paint never pulls anymore that stuff is the best

I love painting the wall and the ceiling, then touching up the ceiling, then the wall, then the ceiling, then the wall and eventually just leaving it

That’s got to be so frustrating… I’ve avoided that sinking feeling in the past by lightly scoring that cut line with a razor blade ✌🏽

Hate when this happens! I end up pulling while it’s wet to prevent it. Then I’m full of paint 🤷🏻♀️😂😂
