In the midst of preparing for the launch of my book “How A Gangsta Rapper Made Me A Better Mom”, nothing prepares you for all the emotions tied to your kids leaving the nest. And as I run around the US looking at universities this week with my last baby, I’ve been an emotional wreck - filled with both excitement for her but a boat load of other feelings stirring up inside. A minute ago she was my baby… where the heck does the time go?! But this is largely what it’s all about - raising strong, independent, forward thinking humans.
