As clearly seen at the end (when Isadora kisses her), our cow carries the mark of slavery on her nose from the headstall that used to penetrate her beautiful head. Here, no headstall will ever touch her face again, no chain will subjugate her. She will be free to roam for miles alongside the other cows of the sanctuary, her new friends! For the first time in her life, human hands caress her, and the companionship of her sisters and brothers of her species gradually erases the memory of a life lived in complete solitude. Meet Amos: A Journey of Resilience, Love, and Joy - pt 2 Amos, our little angel, had a challenging start to his life that touched our hearts deeply. Shortly after his birth, he was separated from his mother and left alone in the fields. It was a heartbreaking situation for this innocent soul, both emotionally and physically. To make matters worse, Amos couldn't receive the vital nourishment of his mother's milk, which is crucial for the healthy development of a newborn goat. We had to step in and provide him with bottle feeding, but even then, he struggled and fell ill during his early days at the sanctuary. It was a difficult time for all of us, but we knew that Amos deserved a happy and healthy life, just like any of us. We worked tirelessly to care for him, keeping a close eye on him day and night. We ensured he received all the necessary medical treatments. But most importantly, we showered him with love and attention. It was amazing to see Amos's unwavering spirit shine through. In just a few days, he bounced back and started jumping and playing around with so much joy. Amos, our little angel, had a challenging start to his life that touched our hearts deeply. Shortly after his birth, he was separated from his mother and left alone in the fields. It was a heartbreaking situation for this innocent soul, both emotionally and physically.

To make matters worse, Amos couldn't receive the vital nourishment of his mother's milk, which is crucial for the healthy development of a newborn goat. We had to step in and provide him with bottle feeding, but even then, he struggled and fell ill during his early days at the sanctuary.
