GRWM - A photographer shooting the Moon by @bycbvisuals 🌙 Using the Sony Alpha 7 IV + Sony 70-200mm f2.8 G Master II + Sony 2x teleconverter. “The teleconverter gives you that extra reach when you need it, and you can still keep that f2.8 on your 70-200mm." - Cesar #SonyAlpha #astrophotography #camerakit
@renz.sadiwa takes us along on his portrait shoot using the Sony Alpha F1.2 50mm G Master lens + Sony Alpha 7 IV. Renz says, "The lens is super versatile and perfect for portraits. It has low amounts of distortion and a similar field of view. This "nifty fifty" is the perfect balance. Subjects look true to life and the shallow depth of field at wider apertures creates a nice bokeh to make your subject stand out." #SonyAlpha #portraitphotography #portrait
@anita.markos gives us a great reminder for capturing the Aurora Borealis: "Sometimes Northern Lights are not visible with the naked eye, because the activity is just too low. We only saw a white, faint glow in the sky, but with our camera we were able to catch this beautiful green Aurora. So always keep your eye (through the camera) on the sky, even if you cannot see anything!" Sony Alpha 7R V | Sony FE 24mm F1.4 G Master | ISO 1250 | 8 sec | #SonyAlpha #northernlights
A gray screech owl captured by Mike Dukarm in Caumsett State Park, Long Island, NY. Mike's tip: "I shot this in 4k 60 fps using crop mode but also used clear image zoom for the extra reach with the 600 mm lens. I used the Sony Alpha 1 and the Sony Alpha 7R V paired with the 200-600mm lens at 2." #SonyAlpha #wildlifephotography #videographytips
"The stunningly beautiful Faroe Islands are a mecca for photographers, but not an easy location to capture. At this iconic spot on Vagar Island, adventurers willing to brave stiff winds and often torrential rain can witness the famous Múlfafossur waterfall plummet a hundred feet into the ocean below. Golden hour is an elusive phenomenon in the Faroe Islands, but rain storms are not - so it's important to have camera gear that is versatile and properly water sealed. This particular shoot was captured on the incredible Sony Alpha 7 IV and the native 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master lens." -
