Experimenting with Color: Group Drawing Lessons, Led by Liz Yerby
Oct 22nd from 2-4pm Sonny's House in Portland

Experimenting with color is a workshop to do just what the name suggests. Many people have not drawn much during the pandemic, and this workshop is for them! This workshop intends to create a supportive, fun environment to get back to drawing. We'll be doing fast-paced simple drawing exercises, utilizing provided markers and other color traditional media. Expect blind contours, some scratch art, and trying to remember what classic cartoon characters look like.
This class is led by Liz Yerby, an Ignatz-nominated cartoonist based here in Portland. They are known for their comics which blend personal and historical narratives, and have guest lectured at PNCA, PSU and OCAC. Their art can be found online at lizyerby.com or on instagram (@lizyerby).
This class is intended for adults, but children are welcome participants (at cost) with adult supervision.
Masks are required at Sonny's for everyone's safety ❣️
