This is where your baby-soothing skills shine. Whether it’s gentle patting, soothing shushing, or your signature bounce and sway, now’s the time to transfer baby. Peel down the midsection, gracefully slip off those shoulder straps, and lay your snoozy babe on a safe sleep surface while you relish in a bit of me time. You deserve it. 💆‍♀️
Anyone else learn how to French braid during recess in middle school? 🥲 This is the mom equivalent, and we promise it’s not just to make your wrap look Instagram-worthy.

Braiding your wrap works great for short-term storage but is a GAME-CHANGER when wrapping on-the-go so the long ends don’t touch the floor. 🤯 We’ll share that tutorial tomorrow, but let’s learn the braiding basics first. It’s one of those things that looks tricky, but is waaaay easier than French braiding—promise! 🙈

✏️ Start at one end of your wrap. Make a knot leaving a small loop.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✏️ Slip your hand through the loop, and pull the long end of the wrap through your current loop to create another small loop.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✏️ Repeat until just before you reach the tag at the center of your wrap. Braid the other side separately.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever wondered: How do I keep the tails from touching the ground when I’m wrapping in a parking lot/at the playground/insert anywhere with a less-than-clean floor here? 🙋🏽‍♀️ Here’s a genius hack that will blow. 🤯 your. 🤯 mind. 🤯
