She later died in police custody, sparking Iran’s longest anti-government protests since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
At #SirHarrySummit in May, Iranian journalist and campaigner @masih alinejad spoke of her disappointment at the ‘empty words and empty condemnations’ of the leaders of democratic countries in response to gender apartheid around the world from Iran to Afghanistan.
