#SirHarrySummit Laurent Richard, Founder and Executive Director of @Forbidden Stories spoke of the evolution of the current generation of young journalists coming through, who are not just looking for the next big scoop, but rather to change the societies they are living in.

Forbidden Stories is a non-profit organisation that ensures journalists under threat can secure their information; the Forbidden Stories network of journalists exists to protect, pursue, and publish the work of fellow journalists facing threats, prison, or murder.

#SirHarrySummt , Branko Brkic, Editor-in-Chief of South African news website @Daily Maverick gave a dire warning for the future of the African continent, predicting a large-scale exodus by 2050.

“We don’t want to water down stories, we want to get the truth out.”
