Quick(ish) story of Lunar Bliss ✨
It's been a deep calling for many years in SO many ways. Kimberly & I have always been passionate about making live Art & Music with Community. It's our most comfortable way of feeling connected to others. Especially since going sober, back in Sept 2016. We wanted to bring that same sense of Community for others who are also looking for an awesome experience of enjoying such outside of a traditional bar setting.

Especially after performing live at Sonic Springs Music & Arts Festival! 😍🎶🎹🎛 That new moon energy really kicked things into hi gear!!! Being major inspired by 2 full moons during August. There was no time to waste & we jumped right in!

Organizing an awesome Deep Roots performance at Zen'Za Pizzeria in 2017 was really the start though. Afterwards, they were so gracious to offer space for us to explore our early idea further. We wanted to bring live Art & Music into a different vibration.
This brought together our 1st Studio SHIM event, called 'Zen Out'. Creating a safe space meant to come & feel naturally inspired.
Even though it turned out just the two of us attending + super happy Pizza Artists. We still had a blast!!! 😍
A 2nd Zen Out event happened around same time the following year. Another awesome couple join in our fun this time!!! 😃
After that, we got super busy with other Art projects. Muraling sometimes consumes everything else.

Fast forward to April 30th, 2022!!! --->
Studio SHIM is forever grateful to have collaborated with Archer+Kow Lotus on their 1st magical alcohol free event series, called Portal.
It was also my 1st time having an oppourtunity to perform in front a big gathering of such a beautiful reception 🎶💖 While KD Flowscapes of course worked her intuitive magic on the canvas as she does! 😍🙌🎨
This evolved into cocreating lots of amazing vibes together through live collaborative painting at many of their awesome events to follow. There is a GORGEOUS series building from. Stay tuned for details about future exhibition 😉

These moments of gathering are super special for Kimberly & I. Inparticlar, the last couple years have been an extremely difficult navigation. So, these types of uplifting experiences are where we can feel most sense of Joy, Community & Healing.

It's especially important for us to personally bring together this type of series with the kind of Music I do. If You've ever seen my gear set up? You know it's a LOT of work to bring about. Which! I totally LOVE doing. I've spent over 20 years getting to where I am today. However...
this also brings an important acknowledgment about how difficult it is to find such oppourtunities to perform from others that are going to be of a balanced energy exchange. While that is never the leading factor in deciding where to perform.
Our Soul Passion is also our Life's profession.
We all got bills to pay.

With that being said! We always put a lot of consideration into what that balance looks like. How to make sure that every Cocreator working with us will be supported as well.
By supporting all of us? You're equally investing in Yourself. These types of positive experiences build us up & ripple out.

We're absolutely honoured to host such offerings at one of our most cherised spaces, Quiet Earth. The energy there is pure Love from all the amazing connections that have happened over the years. It's where my 1st Music by Tatoe festival performance happened, last year at 'Back To The Garden'. Also! my 1st time jamming with Prism Tape Philosophy happened there too!!! (funny story in itself 😆)

Last & certainly most important. We've got to give major credit to our original source & biggest inspiration for following Divine Fullmoon timing.

We started tuning into their fullmoon offerings in 2020. After they started moving their longtime in person gatherings to livestream during that major trying time.

We manifest! Our energy is sacred. It's got to be protected to fully receive the flow of divine downloads. Artistic creation is an awesome way for us to connect with our beautiful source.
