To stop eating too much, check in with yourself about why you're eating. Take 3 deep breaths before eating. Eat slowly, mindfully. And add more protein and good fat to your meals. It'll make you full for longer.

Ladies, please increase protein in your diet! It'll help you get fitter faster! We need more protein as we age, for strong muscles. Together with a weight training program, eat more protein. You won't put on weight by eating more protein. Unless you eat an entire horse everyday. Please use a protein calculator to see how much you need to consume daily, and Google good sources of protein. Have those foods in every meal. I'm not saying stop carbs. I'm saying up your protein intake!

Here's what I wore to the Big Fat Hyderabadi Wedding's Haldi Ceremony. Haldi is a ritual where the bride and groom are smeared with a turmeric paste (كركم). Yes, really. We're a huge population so we take disinfecting very seriously. Especially for our brides and grooms.
In this ceremony it's common to wear the colour of turmeric. Because the name of the ceremony isn't obvious enough. Everyone has to look like the spice, too.
So I wore this red and yellow jalabiya from @sajis_couture. I love how it's a Fusion. The embroidery on the coat is Indian while it's an Arabic jalabiya. Also, I can wear just the red jalabiya for a simpler look, and pair the haldi, sorry, yellow coat with other clothes. I love multifunctional and versatile clothes.
A few Indian accessories, and I was all set. P. S - I stood out like a red chili 🌶 amongst all the turmeric ladies at the event. I didn't realize how seriously everyone takes the dress code. How do all these women have top to bottom turmeric coloured clothes? It's a mystery.

I love co-ords, especially top and skirt ones because together they look like a dress. And you can pair each piece with other tops and bottoms. This black floral top and pencil skirt look super chic together. I love the texture of the material, with the velvet embossing and sheer panels.
Since it was windy when I wore this, I paired it with stockings. I added a structured fuchsia coat that brings the pink in the print out.
Black pumps elongate the silhouette. A pink bag and retro round sunnies finish the look.
