Did you know 95% of a given soda is water? As in, H2O. The stuff in your tap! So why are we shipping bottled water around the world? We’re already used to making coffee and tea at home just by adding water. So why not make sodas at home?

If there is one realisation that AWA's founders couldn't shake during their travels it’s the speed at which nature is degrading. The world is seeing more plastic waste than animals and everyone is getting fed up. Whilst AWA could go on preaching about nature because let’s face it, we all know plastic waste is a problem, it is their opinion that the world is just lacking better solutions. So, introducing the AWA carbonator, helping us all to staying hydrated at a convenience. AWA's official mission is to help people stop buying crates of sodas/sparkling water and instead make drinks at home. Anyone who uses AWA products will be having a good impact on their body and the world, whether they want to or not.

Influenced by travelling, a Madrid home of international inspiration.

Designed by Sierra + De La Higuera, this Madrid home is located in a 1940's era building of the city's bohemian Conde Duque district, wonderfully embodies it's clients personalities. With it's homeowners wanting to bring part of their origins and lives to Madrid, they are avid travellers—the couple are Mexican and Galician— in which the family yearned to bring their differing heritage to their new home. The result, a project that portrays a quest to find colour in Madrid, a characteristic marked by the owners’ journeys and origins.

The architects focused on vivid colours: bright yellows, greens, blues and reds, paired with materials like tiles, ceramics and fine wood, with all complementing one another as you move between the spaces. Each are materials brought from distant, exotic locales, and work very nicely either if seen from a distance or up close. Details such as white tile combine with blue, red or yellow in different areas, all made complete by fine arch frames to frame the different zones and timber material to provide another natural colourway to root the design.

A premium growing experience, Fieldhouse provides a new, design-forward way to grow nutrient rich greens in any home. Founders Alexine and Alex, from the outset, had the goal of showing that anyone can grow plants indoors, regardless of experience. Given the proper tools coupled with easily digestible instructions, Fieldhouse caters to everyone — from the first time grower to the hardcore gardening expert alike.

Dispelling the green thumb myth, Fieldhouse believes that with the right education, any person can garden. With the right tools, any garden can flourish. Leath, the parent brand, started to give the home edible gardening space a much-needed refresh. The founders were looking to incorporate the freshest, most nutritious ingredients into their home cooking, but were tired of compromising on design and quality when it came to growing. And living in the city, they needed a solution that worked within the confines of a smaller space.
