7 years ago, completely out of the blue, I decided to release a song called "When I'm Over You" while I was going through one of the darkest periods of my life. Little did I know that this song would go on to change the trajectory of my career and open doors I never imagined possible.
I always knew I wanted to revisit this song at some point because it's so special to me, but I was waiting for something to tell me it was the right time. Well...in August 2022, after many years, I ended up crossing paths with the person I wrote this song about. But instead of being consumed by all of the horrible emotions I thought I would be...I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and closure.
For the longest time I wondered what I'd do when I was finally over him and I guess now I have the answer.
