Sarracenia leucophylla 'Bocaza' catching a green bottle fly for supper. A large growing red and white form, 'Bocaza' is derived from a form of Spanish to mean wide mouth or big mouth.
Sarracenia flava var. rubricorpora 'Roy Lancaster' is a stunning flava from Hampshire Carnivorous Plants.
Today I took photos of some of the Sarracenia alata in the collection for the website (link in bio). Varieties included are alata, atrorubra, cuprea, nigropurpurea, ornata and rubrioperculata as well as the viridescens and pubescent forms.

I don't find repotting Dionaea particularly fun, but they definitely benefit from fresh soil each season. I'm glad I've got this batch done even though they'll look scruffy until the new growth comes! Divisions taken will be available on the on the new website launching soon!
One of Mike King's hybrids, S. 'Diane Whittaker' is a hybrid of S. x excellens (S. leucophylla x S. minor) and S. leucophylla. A stand-out plant that looks great at the back end of the season due to it's heavy leucophylla parentage.
