Training doesn’t end when your session or class ends.
What you learn during a training session or in training class is meant to be practiced and utilized from that point forward. Give yourself extra time to continue practicing after your session is over and practice each and every time you are interacting with your dog.
Some common mistakes I see that hurt training and cause frustration for the pet parent:
🐾 Loose leash walking during training but not working to show your dog that loose leash walk every single time the leash goes on (time management is key here)
🐾 Other family members not implementing the same training when one person is the primary family member responsible for training.
🐾 Not dedicating the time to continuing that training for the dog in social settings where people have your attention or the dog is “used to acting this way here”
🐾 Not practicing what you learn in class/session consistently, every day with your dog or puppy, only sometimes.

Get them put there! Experiences matter sooo much for young puppies. I see so many behavioral problems in puppies that didnt get adequate social exposure. The easiest way to know your puppy is getting adequate nutrition but not too much is by portioning their meals out ahead of time.
Some goes in the treat pouch, some goes in enrichment pieces, some goes in a food bowl. Its hard to keep track of if you simply pull the kibble out of the big bag each time you need to feed them or fill your treat pouch.
In addition, whats not shown in this video is I will take the dinner portion and put 1/3 of it into breakfast and 1/3 of it into lunch so that I’m left with 1/3 for their actual dinner while potty training.
