If you have been following us since last Ramadan, you may remember me speaking about how the topic of prayer was the biggest difference between my husband and I.
I found myself reminding at first—and over time, I became frustrated. I started to nag, which pushed him further from prayer.
Finally, I took a step back & left it to Allah. I asked Him to include my husband among the ones He guides…
I spent all of last Ramadan making this dua with little hope, and then, my husband and I got into the biggest fight of our marriage.
We thought our relationship wouldnt make it, but it was in that moment of despair that something broke up in both of us.
And I pray that light of guidance continues to illuminate our future, inshAllah.
