What’s something that makes you think of your childhood?

I’m not generally a huge fan of fake flowers in the traditional sense, although there are definitely exceptions to that statement. With that said, I AM usually a fan of anything with sewing patterns… because how can you not be!? Sewing patterns are so beautiful and so easily transformed into beautiful décor you can use for years to come!
These flowers, that will last for years to come, remind me of Isaiah 40:8, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” 🥀

Personally, I’ve always gotten the clover and the shamrock confused when I think of this little Holiday, but I finally cracked the code🤣 and today we’re talking about it! Clovers are said to symbolize faith, love, hope, and luck (or good fortune), and are not a religious symbol. A fun little fact while we’re on the subject, Ireland is said to have more four-leaf clovers than anywhere else, hence the “luck of the Irish” — isn’t that funny!?🍀 The Shamrock, on the other hand, represents the Holy trinity, and its what Saint Patrick used as he was trying to convert the Irish to Christianity! ☘️ If you didn’t know the difference before, you do now… and all while getting inspo for your St. Patty’s Day décor—you’ve been productive today, haven’t you!?😉 created by salvagedliving with salvagedliving's original sound
