The seniors in our Student Service Program spent their September Saturday morning ☀️ mentoring 3rd and 4th graders in reading comprehension 📚 through an ongoing partnership with Friends of the Children - Tampa Bay. Our students started the morning with some icebreakers 🧊 and then read a children’s book 📖 about story writing and plot. Afterwards, our students had the group start a journal 📓 about their own life and listened to their story ideas.💡 Our students know firsthand the value of mentorship, and we are honored to share our skills and talents with this incredible group! 💫

Every month, students in our Student Service Program volunteer 💪 with a nonprofit partner. We have come to love our summer projects with Clothes To Kids 👕 where our students split up between the three different Greater Tampa Bay locations and help ensure every school-aged child 👧 has quality clothing so they can attend school 🏫 with the confidence and self-esteem to achieve academic success. ✨ That is the #powerofgiving at work! #kidshelpingkids
