people ask me all the time.. “you used to perform off the back of your truck tailgate with literally 5 people barely paying attention to you, getting sunburned in 100° Florida summer heat out there for 4 hours every gig, getting paid $0, and having no idea if any of that work would ever payoff… what does it feel like when you run on stage and play the shows you do now?” Truthfully… All of those tailgate gigs… I had an absolute blast. Playing music is my favorite thing to do whether it's for five people or 5,000 people. when we played our last song last night & I was walking off stage.. all I could think was man.. can we just go back up & start that show over again..? I truly didn’t want last night to end. it’s bittersweet that last night was the final night of the tour.. thank y’all for the best last night of the tour I could’ve ever asked for Davie Florida.
