This past summer in a year filled writing session I penned out a new song in honor of a grandfather that spiritually has never left me in all the years that have gone by.. Had a couple people get on to me for not posting anything about my dad last week on his birthday… I’m struggling with social media and kind of finding myself drifting from it.. that being said I’ll work on it for sure …. However while I didn’t post anything… I bought my dad tickets to the George Strait concert on Saturday.. this is the first concert we’ve been too together since I was a teenager.. it was a killer show. Nothing like the King to inspire you to want to keep pushing yourself through the trenches.. and most importantly I had a memorable experience that I’ll never forget with my dad! Another Rally in the books… 10 days with 16 gigs and 7 back to backs … still got a week ahead haha .. insane run I didn’t realize I put myself on, but still blessed to be able to do it .. want to thank all the venues I played this week for the opportunities… I had a good time with a few ups and downs. Only lost my voice once, and managed to meet some awesome people along the way.. got to catch a couple shows along the way too. 7 more days of giggin then a well deserved break .. post my schedule later tomorrow… hope everyone has a great week !!!
