Part of our mission as a rescue is to partner with our local municiple shelters to save deadline dogs who are facing euthansia. Briggs is one of the many dogs we save each month. His plea stated “ An impound to the shelter can be such a stressful event for any animal, and decompression can take days, or even weeks. Briggs has not shown any signs of improvement since his arrival, and he cannot graduate from the guillotine style kennel in which he is housed. Briggs is noted to be hunched in the back of his kennel at all times, stress panting. Staff have observed that he shakes continually, looks to escape, and may urinate on himself.” We went there to meet him and knew we needed to help. Pretzel is still looking for his new best friend! He is an adorable 10 month old hound dog that loves people and other dogs! He has already completed a board and train program with our amazing dog trainer/advocate Ernie (who also made this adorable video) and is now on the hunt for his furever home! He is young, active, and ready to take on the world!
