5 months ago I celebrated a milestone birthday - in the best way possible.

I saw a reel of a woman walking in on her own birthday party to the song Goodness of God by Cece Winans and having a worship party. I decided I wanted to recreate that in my own way.

I share this with my sister, who took it and ran with it, and while this wasn't a surprise party, all of my sisters singing Goodness of God as I walked into my sister's house was.

That part was a huge surprise and still brings tears to my eyes.

This song is my anthem for my 50th year.

I wanted to share about the songs I chose for my worship party - so I wrote a blog post about it.

1️⃣ No one I've talked to has ever heard of this kind of a birthday party, so I thought I'd blog about it for inspiration

2️⃣ I wanted to be able to share the testimonies behind the songs.

We all have songs that have carried us through life's difficult times. Songs that mark victories. Songs that define seasons.

And that is what I included in this post.
