I admit that i was only like 6-9 months into taking photos at the time but that was soul crushing.

Ive been asked by many beginners: “do you think I’ve got what it takes to make it?” My answer is usually “it doesnt matter what i think. What matters is if you think you’ve got what it takes to make it.” As long as you love your craft, youre going to continue to learn new things and improve.
