I've always felt a deep connection to the Finnish culture and its values. Maybe it's because my great grandmother was born and raised in Finland, or maybe it's just my inner Finn shining through. I find myself seeking solace in the calm of the forest, relying on my daily dose of coffee to function, and feeling at home while washing up in a lake. That's why I'm excited to apply for the Masterclass of Happiness challenge and join the in-person event held in Finland this June. I can't wait to learn more about the Finnish secrets to happiness and bring them back with me to incorporate into my daily life. Was there a time that you didn’t think you’d make it? I know there have been plenty in my lifetime already. And should I find myself in a situation that feels overwhelming or impossible, I’m going to remember all the times I made it through. So if you’re struggling right now, just keep going. Focus on the next step, and then the next. Don’t get bogged down by the horizon being far off. Instead, look how far you’ve come and just keep going.
