Working to connect a movement to protect and restore the Fraser Watershed.

The Foodlands Corridor Restoration Program is collaborating with First Nations and agricultural landholders to restore portions of private land adjacent to waterways along the stɑl̓əw̓ (Fraser River). THANK YOU to the many hardworking folks who helped bring this video to life, including the videographers, Foodlands collaborators, landholders, volunteers, staff and contractors - we are so grateful. *stɑl̓əw̓ is the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ word for the Fraser River. hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ is the Downriver dialect of Halkomelem; one of many Indigenous languages spoken across the Fraser Watershed. This FREE, self-guided learning experience explores the Fraser Watershed, from the wildlife that lives within it to the environmental threats the watershed faces and how we can help. This program has something for almost everyone with two distinct learning tracks: Salmon Fry, designed for ages 12 and under, and; Salmon, for ages 13 and up.
