Dr. Gramstad’s Single leg stability series: 1. Single-leg RDL: Stand on your right leg and, bending from the hips, swing your left leg behind you. Your ultimate goal being to make a T with your body, chest parallel with the floor. 2. Hip airplanes: Performing that same motion, but with your arms stretched out to either side, open your hips up to the left. Pause at the top of the motion, rotate hips back to neutral, and return to standing. 3. Heel tap: Stand on a step on your right leg, letting your left leg hover above the ground. While keeping your hips level, bend your right knee to lower your left foot to the ground. Do not put any weight through the left foot. Pause at the bottom and return to your starting position. 4. Single-leg OH press: Stand on your right leg with your left knee flexed up to hip height. Achilles tendinitis Rehab by Dr. Gramstad:1.Heel raise eccentrics: Standing on a step with your heels hanging off the edge, push up onto your toes. At the top of the motion, take your left foot off of the step and lower back to your starting position solely on your right foot2.Wall heel raises: Place your back against a wall and lower yourself down so your knees are bent to 90 degrees. Maintaining this position, press up onto your toes, pausing at the top, and lower your heels back down. 3.Weighted toe walks: Holding a weight in either hand, raise up onto your toes and walk while keeping your heels from touching the floor.4.Partial-weight heel raise: Stand on your right foot with your left knee resting on a table or chair. Tennis Elbow Rehab by Dr. Gramstad:1.Wrist extension eccentrics: Sit with your elbow at your side bent to 90 degrees. Have your forearm supported on a table with your wrist hanging off of the end while holding a weight. Assist the wrist into an extended position with your opposite hand. Take the assisting hand away and lower the wrist down to the starting position slowly. 2.Weighted supination: Sit with your elbow at your side bent to 90 degrees. Have your forearm supported on a table with your wrist hanging off of the end. Hold the end of a weight in your hand and slowly rotate your forearm so you change from a palm down position to a thumbs up position. Pause at the top and return to the starting position.3.90/90 farmer’s carry: Hold a kettlebell bell-side up with your elbow forward at shoulder height. Walk several laps, keeping your shoulder from shrugging up.4.Wrist roll ups: Hang a weight from a dowel rod and slowly scroll the weight up by extending your wrist in an alternating pattern.
