Whelp. Lots of changes around these parts 💕
Tons of things behind the scenes are and have happened recently.
1). WE BOUGHT A CAMPER VAN. We’re headed back to CO this week to play some shows, and spending time together as a group is healing. We’ve grown so much together over the past year.
2). BAND NAME CHANGE. Yep, we did it 😅 it’s no longer just me. We’re past the honeymoon phase, and we have similar goals and care deeply about this project.
We are now Redd & the Paper Flowers 🌻
I will still put out solo, original music under “Redd,” but most of that will just be precursors to what we’ll eventually record as a group.
3). OUR ALBUM. She’s chuggin’ right along. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this project (you’ve not been forgotten!). After Jason’s death and taking over the local Knoxville TN music store, Rush’s Music, we had to put a pause on studio time.
4). IM RELEASING MY FIRST EP IN NOVEMBER. I did something else crazy…I cut a 5 song EP, and I’ve partnered with a super special artist (more to come).
It’s been a strange time of stagnation, taking on too much responsibility, learning new roles, being humbled, among many other things. We’re very excited for this chapter of our musical journey. I’m excited to bring you all with us ♥️

“Appalachia Rising” will be on our 2023 album release ♥️ I wrote this song about pill and alcohol addiction, as someone who grew up with a parent struggling with this. It’s pervasive in the Appalachian region, and people need help. #appalachiamusic #knoxvillemusic #knoxvillegirl #countryfolkproblems
