Tennis elbow isnt always caused by tennis elbow!
It could be but it definitely doesnt have to be. It often affects people who repetively grip or grasp.
Youll want to strengthen those muscles that insert into the elbow.
Not medical advice!

By gently lengthening the wrist extensor muscles, this exercise not only targets the root cause of your discomfort but also promotes healing and strength.
Here’s how it works: Slowly lower a lightweight dumbbell (or any small weighted object) with your affected hand, allowing your wrist to extend fully. Then, use your opposite hand to help bring the weight back up to the starting position. This controlled movement engages the muscles responsible for your elbow pain, encouraging them to adapt and become stronger over time.

These may seem like small changes but they can really help long term!
By closing the gap you are reducing the amount of force placed through your fingers as you pinch! This is particularly beneficial if you have thumb pain or thumb arthritis.
Palms up when possible! This change in positioning naturally takes the strain out of your hands and fingers and into the larger muscles of the body, making it easier to carry.
Exercises! Exercise can help to promote long term joint health!

Do your hands hurt while handwriting? Then listen up!
Here are some tips to decrease your hand pain while handwriting:
Pay attention to your set up. Try keeping the paper and pen close to your body and the height of the surface in a position that is comfortable
Widen the grip! The larger the grip, the less force you have to put through your fingers and hand and the less hard the small joints in your hand has to work. You can do this by adding a rubber band, foam tubing, pencil grip (can find on amazon), or simply buying a larger pen
Use an easy glide pen! This takes some of the work out of your hand and onto the pen
Change your grip! Some people with hand pain and hypermobility may already have changed grips naturally due to comfort but by resting the pen between the index and middle finger you are supporting the pen with the larger portion of the hand. It may be worth a try! Heck, Taylor Swift even uses that grip!
