Judaism is not a "religion." Judaism is faith - Too often, an extreme form takes the front and center in people's perception of authentic Judaism. In this version, community standards and customs trump actual Halacha (Jewish Law). Differing opinions in Halacha are treated as heresy with the same contempt as "reform" movements. This is not true Judaism. This is an extreme version of what is pure Judaism.
In real Judaism, there are different opinions as to the correct interpretation of Jewish Law. These different opinions aren't viewed by opposing sides as ill-intentioned. Still, so long as an opinion is within the framework of being loyal to the codes and ancient sources, they are respected and debated, not ostracized and ridiculed.
In true Judaism, the path to God is wide-open. Individuality has a strong place; absolute conformity is not center stage as the radical movements today present it. It's true; there is a code that binds us together. Opinions outside of that framework are not legitimate. In authentic Judaism, opinions, paths, and ideas within the framework must be tolerated and respected. Judaism is not a rigid religion; Judaism is a life of faith. #judaism #jewishlaw #halacha #jewishlife #jewishcommunity

To remember God’s (HaShem’s) presence is the answer for everything—Jewish Mystics and Kabbalists like Rabbi Nachman of Breslov have been teaching since the days of the Hebrew Bible that God’s existence is everywhere, all the time. As Baalei Teshuva (returnees to Judaism) remembering this universal truth is the answer for every trial and test in our lives. #spiritualjudaism #judasim #kabbalah #rabbinachmanofbreslov #hasidic
God (HaShem) surrounds and fills our entire lives. This principle of Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism is the foundation of our faith (Emunah)— God is everywhere, all the time. Everything comes from Him. Blessed are those who live their lives with this faith and awareness. It also is a catalyst for spiritual growth. #kabbalah #emunah #jewishfaith #jewishmysticism #rabbinachmanofbreslov #jewishwisdom
Before the Exodus from Egypt, the Children of Israel were slaves for over 200 years. They prayed and followed the customs of their Hebrew people, and did not give up for over 200 years! Finally, God (HaShem) saved them and sent them Moses to lead the path to freedom. They went through so much but never gave up, the only question is—will YOU give up? Rav Dror brings this motivational and inspiring teaching from the Hebrew Bible. #biblestudy #bibleinspiration #torah #biblemotivation
“God’s spirit was hovering above the face of the waters.” -Genesis, 1:2 is a foundational part of Jewish mysticism, known as Kabbalah of Creation. This part of Kabbalah studies the spiritual details by which God (HaShem) created the world. In these beginning verses of the Torah, and all verses, there are great depths of spiritual meaning —infinitely itself. #kabbalah #jewishmysticism #judaism #torah #hebrew #biblestudy #hebrewbible
Purity is a treasured level in Torah, Kabbalah, and a Hasidic thought. Rav Dror brings an original teaching on the path to spiritual purification; he explains that the path to correction for past mistakes is to find a holy reflection of the type of enjoyment enjoyed through sin, and to serve God (HaShem) though the holy opposite of the mistake. #jewish #kabbalah #purity #holiness
Rabbi Nachman of Breslov taught that Personal Prayer, Hitbodedut (also sometimes called Jewish Meditation) is the highest path to connect with God (HaShem) and experience spiritual growth. “Talk to God like you talk with your best friend” he said.

You Have Potential! Believe in yourself and believe in your potential. Ancient Jewish esoteric wisdom, and especially Rabbi Nachman of Breslov teaches the importance and spiritual significance of every soul of Israel. The desire for money is a very negative tendency in Judaism, particularly in kabbalah and the chasidic teachings of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. The desire for money, pure physicality, is the antithesis of the desire for God, the desire for spiritualtiy. #jewishspirituality #rabbinachmanofbreslov #spiritualgrowth #kabbalah #money
The early Zionist settlers were largely not observant of Judaism or Torah. In fact, Zionism started out as an decisively anti-religious, anti-Torah, anti-Judaism, anti-Faith movement. But in line with the teachings of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, one should look for good qualities even in the greatest Jewish sinners and heretics. One does not have to look far to see the great feats the early Zionist settlers accomplished. Though their actions, the land of Israel returned to Jewish hands and enabled many millions of Jews to live and fulfill Torah in its holy borders.#torah #judaism #zionist #zionism #jewish
Jewish Marriage Advice - Shalom Bayit (Marital Peace) is a treasured aspect of Jewish Life. Harmony in one’s marriage brings spiritual and physical blessing according to Jewish teachings. But a happy marriage takes work and effort, often especially on the husbands part, to learn to provide what his wife likes and appreciates. #jewishlife #jewishmarriage #marriageadvice #judaism #torah
