Low Phooi Kuen Stephanie was born in Kuala Lumpur, 1967. She graduated from Malaysian Institute of Art in the year 1987 with diploma in graphic design. After a few years working in advertising industry Kuen decided to leave this hectic pace of life and in her 30’s discovered her passion for painting, thus her journey into the world of fine art.
The paintings of Kuen Stephanie often stirred up a sense of nostalgia and happy memories. Everyday life are narrated thru her colourful canvas bringing joy and colours to her viewer.
