10 years ago this would've have been embarrassing to me, not today.
Music has played a major role in my life and in the work I do with my clients.
You may not know that I've toured across the US with a singing group, sang on the steps of the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC, weddings, anniversary parties and even on TV.
Music has been connection for me to the present and the past.
Elton John spin night was a regular thing in my dad's spin class and hold the fondest memories of love, sweat and release.

What does it really mean with you say "I don't have anymore F***S to give?
Are you saying it because you are actually tired of caring for others more than you care for yourself?
Is is a defense mechanism for when you are wanting to create room on your plate for what you want?
At the age of 51 I find myself more than ever wanting to give an F*** without the self-sacrifice and I have discovered a way to do just that.
To me giving a F*** means:
đ„ Paying attention to my own knowing first before anything else
â€ïž To be heart open, vulnerable within my own interactions without fear
âš Knowing my boundaries and holding them ease and calm within my mind and body
đŠ Giving myself the opportunity to create deeper relationships
and
đŻ Live more expansive than ever.

Remaining "open" used to cause me a lot of pain, fear and anxiety.

I have spent the majority of my life in high, high anxiety.
Told to constantly suppress my own knowing, sensitivity and intution.
I heard things like:
"Don't be so sensitive",
"You feel to much",
"Don't use your tears for sympathy", and
"Why are you so..."(you can fill in the blank.
This is the toxic self-shaming construct we are all taught. To first shame ourselves than others. Shamed by educational, religious and employment systems.
When you grow in this toxic social construct we "close up" and start protecting ourselves.
We shut down, try to fit in, ignore our truth and finally concede "this is just how it is" UNTIL..
we can't do it anymore.
The real truth is, is that being staying open is the answer. Leaning into our truth and trusting ourselves.
True freedom and safety come from healing and creating ultimate self-trust and safety.
