I’m over the moon with this beautiful video my good friend Jamie at Team Biscuit Studio shot for me recently. I don’t know how he managed to completely capture the wonderful meditative feeling of serenity I get from green woodworking amongst the trees, but I’m so grateful for his talents in honouring this. 🌳✨🌳

I Forgot to share this little birthday gift I made for my love last month. I dug out my old glass paints and created some little tea/coffee/sugar jars for our little cabin, complete with caddy spoons ofcourse, attached with nettle cordage! 🌿🙏🥄 ☕️

A few weeks ago we headed towards the warmth of the fire in the woods with a big pot of lamb cowl. Sharing food and stories around the fire together is one of my favourite things to do, and was the perfect excuse to try out the new ladle and bowl I carved. (They both worked! Whoop!) 🥰 😅

I’m enjoying exploring different. shapes in this small scale. It feels especially fitting to carve these in the golden autumn sun as the leaves around me turn colour and occasionally float through the air around me.
The perfect little bowls for olives or dips, or even earrings and trinkets. Looking forward to making more in different shapes and sizes!

Testing out my new knife on this little Beech eating spoon. Green Beech is so lovely to carve. Ive decided to leave a little triangle of the cambium layer (the skin beneath the bark) for a little colour and texture. What do you think?
