Baby massage is a technique that involves gentle, rhythmic strokes and touches, traditionally done to babies in India every day. It is believed to have a range of benefits for both the baby and the parent, including promoting relaxation, improving digestion and circulation, and enhancing bonding between the baby and the caregiver πŸ’—

During this 1-hour workshop on Ayurveda and baby massage, Justine will guide you to the basic principles of Ayurveda and how they can be applied to infant care. Through the workshop you will learn:

β€’ the benefits of baby massage for both the baby and parent
β€’ techniques for performing a safe and effective baby massage
β€’ guidance for choosing oils and other products for baby massage
β€’ practical advice on nutrition for mothers and babies

You will receive a handout detailing specific massage strokes, recommended oils, and guidelines for performing baby massage at home.

Yoga mats and warm oil will be provided. Please bring a blanket or towel for your baby.

This workshop is suitable for babies from 6 weeks after birth.
