I had the idea to invent Pump Pal around 4 years ago. Gas pump handles are one of the filthiest things anyone can touch containing over 2 million colony forming units of bacteria per square inch.
Gas stations are aware of this and some offer free disposable plastic gloves for pumping gas, but the issue with that is they’re only contributing to plastic pollution which is devastating our oceans.
My solution to this was to create a reusable glove for pumping gas that stores in your cars fuel compartment. It is one hand only, one size fits all, and will help reduce plastic pollution while keeping your hands clean.
