Abortion has become so normalized that people think it is okay to joke about it.
Abortion is the dismemberment, poisoning, starvation, and ultimately killing of an unborn child, which is not something to joke about. It is reassuring to see people from both sides of the abortion debate standing up against this TikTok user, calling her out on this inappropriate behavior. People often ask us if anyone actually stops and talks to us while we are doing outreach because it sounds crazy that we have conversations about abortion with strangers on the side of the road. It would probably shock you how many people feel comfortable talking to us and are willing to share their thoughts and hear ours. Many people are more willing to talk to us on the side of the road than they might be willing to talk to a family member about the issue of abortion.
Hearing stories like this shows that doing outreach and giving someone space to talk makes such a difference. Through respectful conversations, minds are changed, and people become motivated by the truth of abortion — to share with those around them how evil the reality is.
