Our next release is a chunky jacket with a bunch of pockets and features to make your travels less painful.
It was meant to tie in with our original plan of making a carry-on bag, which was shelved because of how much fabric it uses and frankly, none of us needed something that big for our day-to-day.
But the jacket continues! With too many pockets to count and things like integrated neck gaiter and an elongated sleeve glove-like cuffs for when your hand gets cold!

Unlike many other countries, Indonesians still have to carry their vehicle registrations everywhere they ride/drive.
Usually, they’re attached to the keys in unnecessarily bulky wallets, putting bulges on your pants where there shouldn’t be any 👁️👁️
So we tried to make the slimmest, smallest one yet.
One piece of XPAC, folded and stitched on one end with an eyelet for both closure and attachment point.
No tabs, flaps, or extra layers of fabric, but it’ll protect your papers just as good as the others.

We wanted a bag. At first we thought we'd do a boxy one that is made to the exact maximum dimension you can bring as a carry-on luggage. Then we realize that there'll be too much fabric waste and the fabric is expensive.
So we switched it up, started over, and asked ourselves, "How many bag can we fit into this roll of fabric we have, and have it be big enough for our daily use?"
Turns out it fits a 13" laptop and we can make enough bags to sell it at a reasonable price and not lose money! Win-win! #predikat #beforeobjects

On to the next! The only reason we made this object was that our vendor had a pretty big MOQ for each size of the sweater we wanted to make, so we scrapped our original idea.
But we still want a sweater. So here's a sweater that can fit everyone!
We understand that not everyone is familiar with Photoshop, so we thought we’ll let you know that this sweater mimics a blank, transparent canvas in the app. Complete with rulers and guides you usually use when designing 😬
Since we designed the garment to make sure it fits an XXL, we can’t really predict how the knit will drape once it’s cut to a smaller size. Fortunately, it works out great! The width of the XXL is surprisingly versatile enough even for XXS 🥲

Robin Dunbar wrote this in the conclusion for his 2004 research article titled "Gossip in Evolutionary Perspective.":
“I have argued that gossip, in the broad sense of conversation about social and personal top-ics, is a fundamental prerequisite of the human condition. Were we not able to engage in discussions of these issues, we would not be able to sustain the kinds of societies that we do.”
Basically he said that our ancestors were able to form and sustain societies because of their ability to gossip. They evolved, survived, and conquered the world in a blink of an eye because they could gossip!
For someone whose only exposure to gossip was through tabloids and celebrities, we found it hilarious that something that was associated with sensationalism rather than objective journalism served a more noble purpose for our ancestors.
So we thought to ourselves: wouldn't it be cool if we take the visual cues of the prevalent celebrities tabloids, but instead of the corny headlines and paparazzi photos, we put poetry and art on it, maybe make it beautiful?
So we made a couple designs. And printed it out on a canvas fabric. And then the design was cut, the edges cleaned up, and then it was stitched on the t-shirt.
Looking back on it, we don't think it was the brightest idea. It'll be easier and cheaper to just print the design on the t-shirt directly. But that'll be too easy and you'll lose the feel of tabloid cover flapping around your chest.

While waiting for our necklace to be finished from the 4th (!!) vendor, we fucked around and bought two fake pairs of shoes, remove the logo from one and put it on the other. Is it still fake if it’s not fooling anyone? How about the other pair with no branding at all, is THAT still a fake shoe? Add these to the list of v important questions humanity has to answer, along with, “Is there such thing as free will?” and the most important one, ”what’s a hypotenuse?”

BUT due to our lack of spatial understanding and just dumbness in general, halfway through we realized that, wait, if you cut out the “NOTHIN” part, then the other side would be mirrored, and reads as “NIHTON”! 😭
So we decided to forgo the cutout and just stick the two sides together. Making it look less like the razor blade it references.
We have a couple of these laying around, if you ask nicely, we’ll slip this in with your order!
