Try this banded workout to get an amazing pump without putting a lot of stress on your joints.
Bands are awesome for several reasons, but some obvious ones are that they are easy to take around and they are great for pliability and functional training. Just look at Tom Brady and his TB12 method. It’s almost all bands, and this man stayed at the top until he was 40 plus.
You can try this workout with or without the roman chair. The roman chair adds another layer of core stability since I have to keep my trunk and legs engaged to hold myself up.
If you are in season, you can do this on one of your lighter dynamic days to compliment your heavy day that might include barbells or dumbbells.
If you are just looking to get fit and prevent injury, you can do this 2-3x per week.

How can these exercises prevent back pain?
They can strengthen your Quadratus Lumborum aka The QL.
This muscle helps connect the spine and bottom rib cage to the pelvis.
One of its main functions is to help you bend side to side. When it is weak or injured you will feel low back pain.
These 3️⃣ exercises are all core stabilizing exercises. They force you to engage your core and turn everything on.
In the Offset Barbell March all the weight is pulling me to the side, but I’m keeping my core locked and maintaining my posture as I move forward and back.
These moves may look unorthodox, but they can be done for any level. Don’t be intimated by them.
Just lighten the load and focus on the mind to muscle connection.
Try doing these exercises 2-3x per week and tell us how you feel.
By the way, the glute walk is probably the best trunk workout that no one does.
