Some of my most frequently used knowledge in painting packaged into a few seconds :)
While painting, I rarely consciously think about the next move. However, during the intervals between sessions, when analyzing the progress, it's beneficial to have some basic knowledge like this. 🫴

There’s something so special (and important) about getting into the state where thoughts just disappear and you’re totally in the zone. It doesn’t happen at all times but when it does, I can end the painting session with a feeling “damn that painting just progressed A LOT” 🤩 #art #acrylicpainting #landscapeart #finearts #artist
🤔 How to paint a landscape with a sense of depth? 🗻
.
When it comes to painting realistic landscapes with a great sense of depth, the most important thing is to understand some of the core principles of how values and colors change throughout the painting, moving from the background to the foreground. 🎨
.
Generally, the foreground—the area closest to the viewer—should have a warm and detailed look compared to the rest, with strong contrasts. 🤌
.
As you move away from the foreground, the colors start to get colder, and the vibrance starts to decrease. 📉

😙 I hope this video serves as a source of inspiration, demonstrating that it's actually possible to complete a painting in 7 days. 🎨
For a bit of context: I typically spend a couple of hours per day painting, averaging around 2 hours. ⏰
I'm not mentioning this to boast about how quickly I can paint, although I understand that it may seem slow to some people. 🤔
My goal is to provide a realistic perspective on the amount of time it takes me to create a painting. While larger pieces may require more time, for smaller canvases, the process can be relatively quick. 😌🙌 #arttalk #arttok #paintingprogress #acryliclandscape #natureart

😳 Let’s COMPLETELY transform this landscape…
.
While transitioning this photo into a painting, I accidentally changed the time of the day. After I had published the painting, people started referring to it as a night-time landscape. 🌛
.
I was surprised because I had created the painting with the intention of it being a daytime landscape. However, after reading some comments, I thought to myself, 'Wow! This could actually be a nightscape too!’ 😌 #dailyart #fineart #contemporaryart #acryliclandscape #expressiveart #art

🧐 What 7 days of painting look like for me?
How to paint more efficiently? 🤔
.
When working on this piece, I knew that I would be openly sharing not only my final result and process, but also my efficiency (I paint for around 1.5-2 hours per day). 🎨
While the purpose of this video is to give viewers a realistic idea of how long an average painting takes, I also wanted to ensure that I didn't appear too inefficient. After all, what if there was no noticeable progress in 4 days? That would be awkward. 🤠
So, public accountability is a huge part of the answer to the question. 👥
However, you may ask, "What if I don't want to share my art publicly?" In that case, I would suggest finding a friend or someone close to you whom you respect and whose opinion means a lot to you. 🙌
Personally, I follow the same approach. Almost after every painting session, I send my friend a process picture.
This helps me to stay consistent and efficient throughout the process, even through difficult times.

🫠 Unfortunately, the process of creating this painting took a couple of months with a large break in the middle, instead of a few weeks. Although I wasn't feeling happy with the process at first, I'm glad that I decided to come back to it. In the end, the painting turned out to be something great. 🤌 #art #painting #acryliclandscape #contemporaryart #expressionismart #landscapepainting
