I LOVE the band and the lights and all that, but nothing more beautiful on these nights than the sound of God’s people singing His praises. Every night has been off the charts in this regard. Packed rooms full of faith and expectancy. It’s been incredible to witness and an absolute joy to be a part of.

Out of all the songs I’ve been a part of over the years, this one has had the single greatest impact on my life. From the day the verses flowed out while I was sitting in my backyard 3 years ago to this day it has been something like a compass for my heart. I find myself remembering it and singing it to myself when faced with all kinds situations. It forces me to stop and ask “What does it look like to follow Jesus in this?”
Merry Christmas Everyone! It’s officially that time of year🙌🏼🎄. So I’ll be posting some of my favorite Christmas moments I’ve gotten to be a part of starting with this one. I LOVED releasing and leading this song last year. Thanks to Anne Wilson for lending her beautiful voice to it!

I remember when this song was being written my heart was just about exploding. I’ve always been one to connect with God through creation. When I talk with God I often sit outside or go for a walk. Nothing like a trip to the mountains, or watching the sunset over the ocean or taking a moment to star at the stars to me of God’s presence and power. I love this song and I hope you do too:)

Out on the road this week and missing my sweet Mallory Wickham. Got to release this song for her earlier this month as a surprise on our 15 year anniversary. It’s called “Just Too Good” and I’m so proud with how it turned out! Love you Mal!
THE JESUS WAY

Out of all the songs I’ve been a part of over the years, this one has had the single greatest impact on my life. From the day the verses flowed out while I was sitting in my backyard 3 years ago to this day it has been something like a compass for my heart. I find myself remembering it and singing it to myself when faced with all kinds situations. It forces me to stop and ask “What does it look like to follow Jesus in this?” I have found that the Jesus Way is often not the easy path. It takes surrender, grace, empathy, humility, mercy and love. Sometimes it feels the polar opposite to what my emotions and society is telling me I should do. But I have found something else out too. In the dying to myself there is LIFE. Real abundant life. A life full of joy, peace, hope, satisfaction, purpose, meaning, and blessing. I find when I walk that narrow road that is the way of Jesus what I get far outweighs what I give. My relationships deepen, my marriage flourishes, my anxiety diminishes, my joy overflows, my complaints turn into praise, my perspective on everything shifts. The more I align my life with the Jesus way the more I sense myself stepping into what I was always created to be. It’s a new type of humanity. It’s a higher kingdom. It’s real life, and I invite you into it with me and countless others who have walked this path.

The word “Behold” is used over 1,200 times in the King version of the Bible. A good translation of this word in simple terms is to “be sure to see” or even “don’t miss this”. One of my favorite times this word is used is when the angels came to the shepherds on that holy night when Jesus was born. They said “Do not be afraid. For BEHOLD, I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” What news to reason straight from heavens angels! The Messiah had arrived. God came near! I encourage you guys as the next few weeks start to fly by, that you take a moment and some point to BEHOLD HIM. To remember the story. To think on how beautiful and wonderful it all is and how much it matters to you. How god is still Emmanuel. Still near. Still with us. Merry Christmas friends!
