For the longest time I was resistent to have any type of power assistive tech to help me get around, see it as somehow impeding on my independence. The first time that changed was when I tried to get around Glastonbury festival by only pushing. Such a mission. The following year I hired a mobility scooter, hanging my wheelchair of the back, which made things a million times easier. I've been using a @triride.uk for about a year now and it's a game changer. It makes it so easy to get around areas that don't have good public transport connections.
