Happy Monday! I wanted to share some tips on proper footwear and gear to have if you’re like me and have flat feet.
I teach fitness, yoga and dance classes 5 days a week, and I’m usually on my feet throughout the day as well. So I like having good stability shoes (@Nike ) and compression bands (@Copper Compression ) on hand for more support, especially to prevent pronation, which can affect the arches, heels, ankles, knees, hips and lower back.
Be sure to talk to a doctor, either a podiatrist or orthopedic, if you’re having more serious issues. But overall, protect your feet so you can stay active too!

Happy Monday! If you’re hoping to have a productive week ahead, focus on boosting your mental and physical energy with these cardio and strength-training moves using light dumbbells.
You’ll work your outer thighs, core, glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, calf muscles, biceps and deltoids, while lengthening your torso and spine and getting your heart rate up!
1. Leg lifts and arm raises out to the sides
2. Knee lifts with hammer curls
3. Toe raises with arms overhead
4. Lunges back with arm raises forward

I’m gearing up for several speaking engagements, partnerships and travel for work this fall, so I’m trying to take advantage of these precious summer weeks to get mentally and physically stronger.
