I hope you all are having a good week! I’ve admittedly been a little stressed lately with an extremely busy work and family schedule and some health issues in my extended family.
However, when we’re busy and stressed, the best thing we can do is slow down. While that can be difficult to do, for myself included, it’s critical for our health and wellbeing and those around us. If any of you are also experiencing stress of any kind or just want to get better at managing it in the future, feel free to join me for the 30-Day Passion Fit Mindfulness Challenge!
Here’s how it will work: From April 1 - 30, the goal is to practice at least 5 minutes of mindfulness each day. This can be done in the morning, during the day or at night, and can be in the forms of deep breathing, meditation, yoga, listening to calming music, going outside in nature, journaling or anything else that works for you.

Happy Thursday! Need a little energy boost to finish out the week? Here’s a fun mash-up of 6 bootcamp exercises that get your heart rate up and strengthen your core, upper and lower body:
1. Burpees
2. Push-ups
3. Power lunges
4. Side steps/jumps
5. Fast feet
6. Jump squats out and in
These exercises can be done individually and can be modified by taking out the jumps and doing the push-ups on your knees. Enjoy, and the weekend will be here before you know it! 💗💪🏼

Now that we’re a few weeks into the New Year, who’s up for a fitness challenge?! Starting on Monday, January 23rd, I’ll be running a Passion Fit 7-Day Squat Challenge!
To participate, you would do 60 squats a day for 7 days from January 23rd - 29th. You can do traditional squats, power squats or plié squats.
The goals are to create consistency, build strength by working large muscle groups in the lower body, increase in your metabolism and caloric burn, and apply the discipline and mindset for this challenge to other areas of your life as well.
There will be a raffle as well, where you can enter to win a prize from the Passion Fit online boutique.

All you’ll need is a 5-8 pound dumbbell and an exercise mat. You’ll work your upper body, lower body and core, and you’ll get in a little bit of low-impact cardio and stretching as well.
Most importantly, you’ll be able to burn off stress, clear your mind and improve your mood, so you can enjoy the holiday season even more!
