This is Isdud where more than 4,900 Palestinians were forcibly expelled and attacked to make way for illegal settlements. The Israeli settler city of Ashdod now sits on the remains of Isdud.

Isdud was also Heba Zagout’s hometown, a refugee in Gaza and artist. She was killed with her two children in an Israeli airstrike on October 13, 2023.

The videos of Heba are sourced from the Palestinian Feminist Collective as well as Heba’s YouTube channel where her art was filmed by Hala Gouda.

This is al-Jura, al-Khisas, Ni'ilya, and al-Majdal in the Gaza perimeter in Palestine. These villages were depopulated and ethnically cleansed in 1948 by Zionist militia — many of the indiginous inhabitants sought refuge in Gaza. 26 Palestinians in Gaza who were killed by Israeli airstrikes and had their names in the list released by the Ministry of Health appear to have been descendants of the village of al-Majdal.

These four villages are now occupied by the illegal settlement of Ashkelon that has been in the news in recent days where the Israeli regime is attempting to evacuate it after it intensified its attack on Gaza, imposing a total blackout cutting Palestinians from the world as they rain bombs and chemical weapons on innocent civilians.

This is Najd where some Gazans are from. Najd was destroyed and replaced by the illegal Israeli settlement Sderot whose inhabitants CHEERED when Israeli airstrikes hit the Strip in 2014 killing 2251 Palestinians including 551 children.

The settlement is one of the first that Palestinian resistance fighters entered during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 — for the first time, they were in the stolen land Najd in Occupied Palestine. Since the operation started, Israel has been committing GENOCIDE against Palestinians in Gaza — deliberately targeting civilians; cutting food, water, electricity, and internet; assassinating journalists and paramedic; erasing entire families from the record; actually beheading Palestinian babies. Israel has dropped more than 6000 bombs on Gaza in SIX days, nearly matching the number of bombs dropped by the U.S. in Afghanistan in ONE year. Israel killed 2,268 Palestinians as of 4:30pm Palestine time on Oct. 14. 53 of them are in the West Bank.
