For so many reasons we always find our selves returning to Lake Meredith. But for time’s sake we reduced the list to just 10. Let us know if you’ve ever been or would add this spot to your next roadtrip?

2. Lots to do- including fishing, boating, and hiking.
3. Multiple campgrounds to choose from
4. Amenities like picnic tables and fire rings.
5. Hot Showers/Bathrooms with potable water
6. STUNNING sunrises and sunsets
7. Great for bird watching and wildlife viewing.
8. Potable Water and Dump Station nearby
9. Open all year round, with different activities to do in each season.
10. Free of charge, which makes it a great option for budget-conscious travelers.

Raising a puppy in a van 👇🏽
Raising a cattle dog pup while traveling together in our van home was an incredibly wonderful experience for us. The close bond that formed between the three of us was incredibly special, we credit this to all of the intimate time we got to spent together in our cozy home on wheels. The camper provided a comfortable space for our Rory to grow up and learn the adventure dog ropes, and also allowed us to easily travel different places across the country where she could explore and experience all this big ole country has to offer.
We get asked about training a lot and the truth is the close quarters of the van made training and housebreaking much easier, as our puppy was always within close proximity to us. The opportunity to travel and see new places together added an extra level of excitement and adventure to our experience. Overall, raising a puppy in a van while traveling together was a truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for us.
