#narcanyourfriends but narcan them responsibly - don’t over narcan them, thats not Harm Reduction. What does that mean? Most of the time it only takes 1-2 doses to reverse someone’s overdose. Remember to wait 1-2 minutes between doses to do resue breathes while waiing for the narcan to get to slide up on those opioid receptors. Giving too much too fast sends people into precipitated withdrawal which is painful and harmful. Be easy with them when they wake up & stay with them and try not to let them use again for 2-3 hours. Be easy on yourself too because reversing an overdose is a lot. #narcanisnotapunishmentforgettinghigh
