On the morning of Thursday May 18th 2023, a Polk County Clinic Defender and member of Florida National Organization for Women was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
The crime was allegedly tossing a pair of new panties on the ground, which Captain Billy Strickland with Polk County’s Sheriff Office (PCSO) can be heard in a TikTok video posted by @swanofcentralfl saying hit him on the back of his leg. Another video obtained by @fl.now shows Captain Strickland saying the panties “bounced” and then hit his leg.
Even if the cotton panties magically did somehow “bounce” and hit the back of his leg, do you think that merits the charges?
