DO YOU HAVE A RUNNERS BODY?
I was coaching my Up & Running clients last week, and I asked who thought of their body as a runner’s body.
Pretty much everyone said no.
Even though they’re all runners, and they all have bodies.
The thing is, we tend to think that a runner’s body is thin and toned, with very low body fat and capable of running fast and far.
But that’s only one type of runner’s body!
There’s also other types:
Bodies with round butts
Bodies with flat butts
Bodies with round bellies
Bodies with thick thighs
Bodies with prosthetic legs
And every other body type you can imagine.
If you run, and you have a body...you have a body that runs, which means you have a runner’s body.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but run/walk is RUNNING. It’s a legit method of training AND racing used by a lot of folks. And #littleknownfact it can actually make you faster overall.
