“Within the heart of my album Evolve, a special track, ‘Thinkin Bout You,’ takes its place as the 14th gem in its deluxe version. This song has walked alongside me through the twists and turns of life, marking both my highest triumphs and my lowest valleys. It’s almost as if it was determined to evolve into the very essence it is now.

Little did I know that its final form and completion would come just a day after I bid farewell to my father, after a visit to him in the hospital. In this journey, I clung to my original vision for the song. After all, it was conceived in a mansion nestled in the Los Angeles hills, an experience you’ll have to find in the pages of my memoir to fully grasp. Yet, even amidst that luxurious backdrop, the memory of my father caused me to add the guitar’s luminous notes in the pick up of this tune. It’s almost a tribute to his favorite song, ‘Hotel California.’

Each of my songs carries a purpose and a narrative, rich with stories that weave the fabric of my life. As you lend your ears to them, you’ll come to understand me on a deeper level, and in doing so, perhaps even discover something about yourself. These melodies resonate in ways that unite us all.

This song is more than words and melody; it's a journey through a profound chapter of my life. It tells the story of a love that began when I was just fifteen, a connection with a guy who wore the 'bad boy' label while I was known as the good girl. Our love was sincere and beautiful, a genuine bond that defied expectations.

As life unfolded, we embarked on separate paths that took us far from each other. Through adulthood, we remained connected, checking in occasionally, but reality had shifted. The person he became wasn't someone I could fully embrace, given the life he was leading. Our connection remained, our souls intertwined, yet the forces of life had scattered our destinies. He faced the walls of prison, and I stood by him for a time, but as the days stretched into years, the truth became apparent.
