While our city has previously had two Haitian American Chiefs, Chief Gause holds the distinction of being the first Haitian-American #WOMAN to assume the role of Chief of Police in North Miami. @northmiamifl

Last night, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and immense honor as I was inducted into the prestigious 2023 Haitian Compas Festival Hall of Fame for Outstanding Leadership. This moment filled my heart with joy, as it signified the culmination of dedicated service, hard work, and the breaking of a NEW beginning, for me.
This induction is not just a personal achievement, it is also a testament to the incredible artists, musicians, and performers who have paved the way and marked our generation.
